I just recieved my SonicSwingers today and they just look and feel amazing! As someone who both learned the basics of spinning with, and is more than used to Globalz (hardly beginners' poi, are they?), I found these amazingly light bus aslso very sturdy. I tend to be at my best spinning-wise when I have stress or frustrations to vent, which means that my poi tend to take a heck of a lot of punishment (I had to replace the swivels on my Globalz the first couple of times I used them!)! But the SoniccSwingers are so sturdy that I know I'll be able to spin them as hard and fast as I like without giving it a second thought. Another great thing thing about these poi is that I know that if I am in a particularly bad mood whilst spinning (like, to the point where I'm not cconcentrating properly!), if I accidentally whack myself on the head of get a bit tangled, there's no harm done. An amazing product for anyone like me who has a deep-down passion for spiining but still has a tremendous amount to learn. The only poi you'll ever need until you're really good enough to be showing off at clubs, raves and festivals with glowing, LED, of even fire poi.
